Longboats rowing troops ashore after taking them off H.M.S. Rose during a re-enactment event in June 1999.  Peter  Rindlisbacher's new longboat is the 2nd from the right. This is it's first event after a long conversion from a lifeboat into a very credible longboat that fits into the period from the late 1700's into the early 1800's.
