Here the longboats have left the ship and are staging an attack on the establisment. On the way in to the beach there was much small cannon and musket fire to soften up the defending positions. One can see from here some of the buildings that grace this establishment. The visitor to this historic site can see all sorts of activities from the sawing of logs and steam bending of the planks, to interpretations of various people that would have been stationed here.
