Work Party October 13,2007

Again there has been lots of work done since the last major work party, but photos have not been available to document all that has been done. Vern has replaced more planks and ribs and John has been busy on puttting new canvas on cabin tops. The motor has been run-up and seems strong. Today Donny Craig has been painting the hull above the water line.  Here he is hard at work.

Here Vern is supervising Tony and Ryan starting to take the old cap rail off so that some of the upper ribs can be replaced.  This was a tricky job in order not to damage the old cap rail, 

This shot shows Dr. John preparing the cabin top for new canvas and here we see him cutting it for a good fit. This shot looking back from the bow, shows the forward cabin top with new canvas fitted.

Here we see the deadeyes waiting in the wings, ready for final preparation and installation on the channels, which will go on as soon as the new rub rails are installed.
