Meeting date October 19,2008We will do a little photo tour of the ship and see the changes that have taken place that will be new to most of you. Here we see the hull all nicely caulked and painted, with just a little work to be done under the pad locations. Another image of that here. This image shows the Chain plates installed and dead-eyes attatched. Just a little more work here on the through bolts. Here we see a shot looking down the port side deck showing cabin tops all with new canvas, mouldings almost done and new cap rails attached. This shot shows the stairs leading down into the Navigation area, wherfe access to the motor is also available behind the stairs. This shot shows a view in the main cabin looking forward to the galley and forward berths and this one shows a view looking aft past the head into the Navigation station. Here is a shot from the galley area looking towards forward berths and lockers. This view shows the galley area. This view shows the way down from the deck into the area opposite the galley. Here we see another view on deck looking aft over the cabin tops. After our tour of the ship we dicided to do a list of things that still have to be done. We started at the Rudder and decided to pull it off after all, and check bearings and be able to better tighten a loose section at the top. It will be like new when it is replaced and we all were happy that it came off relatively easily. Here is an image of the rudder off the ship and ready to be worked on. Harry Foster
