Work Party May 24,2008

Here we see Dr. John painting the bulwarks after his sister Penny had scraped them. The cabin tops have had new canvas applied and two coats of paint as well. In this shot Vern is hard at work doing the final wooden plugs after the bronze screws have been applied in re-fastening the hull.

Here we see wood work being done in the main cabin to make things comfortable while at sea. The head and tank have been installed, with all through-hull fittings etc.

This shot shows Dr. John reading the text of the de-naming ceremony and this shot shows young Donna pouring a libation over the bow of La Revenante. This final shot shows the group who was here working today and partaking in this ceremony. A good day's work by a good group.
