The Schooner La Revenante Association

“To encourage, support and assist in the reconstruction, refurbishment and completion of the schooner La Revenante as an historical display vessel and historically-based sail training platform.

To advise, design, plan and assist in the management of a sailing and operational program for the schooner La Revenante that shall have as its goals the furthering of the vessel’s purposes, which are:

  • The accurate presentation of traditional seamanship and the seaman’s world of colonial Canada; and
  • The operation of the vessel in support of heritage, cultural or educational activities that will enhance public awareness and understanding of Canadian maritime history; and
  • The securing of support, whether in kind, in services, or in funds, as shall permit the continuing operation of the vessel.”
