We came onto this old wreck stuck on some rocks as we paddled down Georgian Bay, name clearly visible so I researched the boat and came up with some interesting information. Built in 1882 for a lumber company working the east side of Georgian Bay. Over the years it had other owners and the information is that it was broken up in 1963. I guess broken up just means taking all the good bits off and leaving her somewhere on the rocks. She was a handsome ship in her day that I am sure is full of memories for so many men.
