This shot of us on our bikes was taken as we rode into the town of Thornton Indiana. On the trip, it happened a few times where a reporter from the local paper would track us down, take a photo and do a bit of a story. Some were nice enough to write to my parents back in Ottawa and let them know how were were doing.    As the story says, we were 19 days from Ottawa at this stage, tanned and full acclimatized to our days of riding.
